Ripple's Hidden Road Goes Live on DTCC NSCC Director

Ripple's integration with Hidden Road just got real. The DTCC published notice A# 9727 on February 27, 2026. It shows Hidden Road Partners CIV US LLC added to the NSCC MPID directory. First trade date: March 2, 2026.

That is not a proposal. Not a pilot. It went live.

The official DTCC notice lists Hidden Road under the OTC, Corporates, Municipals, and UITs clearing directory. Ticker shown is PERS. It sits alongside other participant changes including Bain Capital Private Credit and US Bancorp Fund Services.

Hidden Road and Ripple Prime: What's Actually Being Built

Hidden Road ($HRFI) is a prime brokerage and clearing firm. Ripple acquired it earlier. Ripple Prime, the institutional arm, is positioned to route post-trade settlement activity through XRPL.

on X flagged the DTCC notice directly. The account pointed out that Hidden Road's NSCC listing signals scaling integration. "Ripple Prime's role in bridging TradFi and DeFi will likely move post-trade volume to the XRPL," BankXRP wrote on X.

That part matters. Post-trade volume is not speculative chatter. It means clearing, settlement, and custody workflows that currently run on legacy rails.

NSCC membership carries weight in traditional finance. The National Securities Clearing Corporation sits at the center of U.S. equity settlement. Getting listed is not routine. Firms must meet compliance thresholds. Hidden Road clearing through NSCC while connected to Ripple Prime sets up a direct link between that TradFi infrastructure and blockchain-based settlement.

DTCC Notice Reveals More Than Hidden Road

The same A# 9727 filing shows broader participant changes. Azzad Funds No. 5662 retired February 27. Paralel Distributors LLC absorbed that number on March 2. Bain Capital Private Credit retired too. US Bancorp Fund Services stepped in under No. 183N.

Several firms also joined the Alternative Investment Products service. Vistra USA, Society Hill Capital, NAV Consulting with Farther Asset Management, and Gemini Fund Services with Prospect Enhanced Yield Fund all started between February 26 and March 5, 2026.

None of those are Ripple-related. But they sit inside the same document. Hidden Road's entry stands out because of what surrounds it on the XRPL side.

Ripple Prime has been described as the institutional gateway. If post-trade flows start routing through XRPL, the ledger handles real settlement, not just token transfers between crypto wallets. That is a different category of usage entirely.

BankXRP's post on X put it plainly. The integration is scaling. The DTCC notice is the proof.

The question now is volume. Hidden Road runs prime brokerage for institutional clients across fixed income, FX, and equities. Routing even a fraction of that clearing activity through XRPL would represent a meaningful shift in how the ledger gets used. Not as a retail payments layer. As post-trade infrastructure for professional markets.

March 2 was day one. The actual scale of what moves through comes later.
